Pitt Street Uniting Church
The Pitt Street Uniting Church is a beautiful and heritage-listed space, hiding in plain sight in the Sydney central business district. Founded in 1833, the church building was designed by John Bibb and built from 1841 to 1846. The exterior is an example of late Old Colonial Georgian Classical design. The was also known as Pitt Street Congregational Church. This is an ideal space for anniversary and gala events, awards ceremonies, fundraising and charity events, cultural celebrations, live music, conferences, corporate launches, parties, events and exhibitions, product releases, showcases and trade shows. The adjoining foyer offers a small area for welcoming guests. The space features all of the IT requirements and furniture for any professional or corporate event. When hiring our very wonderful church a day is 8 hours. And please ask about our community rates. We look forward to making you welcome and your event a success.

About the organisation
Pitt Street Uniting Church is an open and inclusive community. Wherever you are on your faith journey, wherever you have come from, wherever you are going to, whatever you believe, whatever you do not believe, you are welcome here. Pitt Street is a place of welcome for all people regardless of race, sex, creed, age, cultural background, sexual orientation, gender identity or intersex status. The Uniting Church is the third largest Christian denomination in Australia and the first church to be created in and of Australia. On any Sunday more than 2,500 congregations worship at a Uniting Church including many congregations that worship in languages other than English. Our churches can be found deep in the heart of our cities, or in our most isolated and outback towns.
