Located in the heart of Sydney’s CBD, St Stephen's Uniting Church is a historic gem that was built in the 1930s and features stunning Gothic Revival architecture, including sandstone walls, wood panelling and high ceilings, a soaring bell tower and spectacular stained-glass windows. The acoustics are superb making it a popular venue for intimate concerts. If you want to live a transcendental experience in a spiritual place as you’re embraced by the gentle glow of candles and heavenly classical music, search no more. The St Stephen's auditorium (worship space) is large enough to hold events with up to 700 guests and also versatile enough to fit more intimate gatherings with that 'wow' factor. St Stephen's has been the venue for major Sydney Festival and Vivid Sydney events, contemporary music concerts, classical and opera performances, state events and weddings (large and small). The building has disabled access throughout; WiFi for guests, a modern audio-visual system and live streaming are available. Additional space within St Stephen's is also available for hire (including a commercial kitchen and Ferguson Hall).

St Stephen's Uniting Church is a worshiping congregation of the Uniting Church in Australia. We have an extensive music and arts program, and a social welfare program. We are inclusive of all, including the LGBTIQ community and CALD communities.
